This weekend, The Wisewood Inn is 5 years old since the pub was taken on under new ownership.

We reopened our doors under the current ownership in October 2015, relaunching the pub – formerly leased by various pub companies with little success – revitalising and refurbishing it into a successful pub and microbrewery, which puts the local community at the heart.

Over those five years, we’ve launched our own microbrewery, opened our second pub – The Raven Inn – hosted our first successful beer festival, had a full refurbishment and won CAMRA’s Pub of the Month on two separate occasions, the latest being in April 2020.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT…

Local pubs have been the heart and soul of British culture and society for hundreds of years.  The Wisewood Inn itself has been around for decades, serving the local community.

You may have read that pubs and hospitality venues throughout the United Kingdom are facing many challenges, the latest with further restrictions to due to be announced shortly.

Without the help from a patrons over the last 5 years, The Wisewood Inn wouldn’t be half the pub that it is today!

We want to thank you for your continued support over this difficult period.

We’d love it if you’d come and celebrate with us for a cheeky pint and something to eat this weekend.
